Draft — requires legal review before launch
Prepared 8 October 2026. Not a final or effective policy. Items marked “To confirm” require F8’s owner to supply facts or approve a decision. This draft is not legal advice.
A considered community needs clear expectations. These draft terms describe eligibility, membership, safety and the current payment-free beta.
1. Optional Passport connections
Passport connects opted-in approved adult members through city-level travel plans, subject to both members’ existing requirements and safety rules. Dates indicate plans, not verified presence or availability. Openness to a date is optional and never a promise to meet. Mutual interest is required for messaging. Passport shares Discover’s existing daily profile allowance without changing prices or activating payments. Members can hide or delete trips and withdraw travel consent; existing mutual conversations remain subject to blocking and account restrictions.
2. Operator and status of this draft
These proposed terms concern F8’s private beta matchmaking service and must be finalized before members are invited. To confirm: operator legal name, business address, contact details, service countries, governing law and effective date. Viewing or linking this draft does not itself establish a finalized agreement or record consent.
3. Eligibility and accurate information
You must be at least 18, single, legally able to enter an agreement and permitted to use the service in your location. Provide a valid, accurate date of birth and truthful application and profile information. Do not use another person’s identity or falsify your age. Server-side age checks do not constitute identity verification or criminal-background screening.
Member birthday edits are restricted; request a legitimate correction through the support process once confirmed. Existing accounts with missing or ineligible birthdays may lose access to restricted features without their records being deleted. To confirm: verification procedures, any additional regional eligibility requirements and how eligibility disputes are handled.
4. Applications, accounts and membership
Membership is application-based. Submission does not guarantee approval; applications may be pending, accepted, waitlisted or declined. Member features depend on approval and valid adult eligibility. Keep sign-in details secure, do not share accounts and do not sell or transfer access. Notify F8 of suspected unauthorized access through the confirmed support channel.
F8 may limit access for safety, eligibility or rule violations, subject to applicable law and the finalized review process. To confirm: review standards, beta capacity, appeals, whether duplicate accounts are allowed and who handles account access problems.
5. Matchmaking and communication
Discover offers a limited daily selection to eligible approved members. Mutual interest can unlock messaging; Concierge personal introductions are administrator-controlled. AI assists compatibility assessment from saved answers, but neither AI nor a matchmaker guarantees a relationship, a specific number of suitable matches, the accuracy of another member’s claims or a safe meeting.
You decide whether to communicate or meet. Respect consent and boundaries, avoid sending money or confidential information, and use your own judgment when moving off-platform. No background-check service is promised. The Privacy Policy explains data use; Community Guidelines explain conduct and reporting.
6. Acceptable use and member content
Do not harass, threaten, discriminate, impersonate, scam, solicit money deceptively, post explicit content, exploit minors, share private information without permission, or use the service for unlawful activities. Do not scrape profiles, bypass privacy or age restrictions, access administrator information, spam, sell accounts or use automated tools without authorization.
Only submit content you have the right to share. Proposed limited permission: allow F8 and necessary providers to store, process and display your submitted content only to operate the service in accordance with the Privacy Policy; you retain ownership. To confirm with counsel: the exact content-license wording, intellectual-property notice process and treatment of content after termination. No public advertising reuse of member photographs is authorized by this draft.
7. Membership tiers and subscriptions
Displayed plans are Free (included, three Discover profiles per day), Select ($39 per month, seven per day), and Concierge ($299 per month, ten per day plus administrator-controlled personal matchmaker introductions). Tier requests do not automatically change access; administrators manage the current tier.
Payments are not active. Requesting a tier does not initiate a charge or paid subscription in the current app. This draft does not authorize billing or promise paid benefits before activation.
Before any payments launch, confirm currency, tax treatment, billing interval, renewal and cancellation terms, trial rules, refunds, price changes, payment provider and applicable consumer rights. Clear purchase terms and express authorization must precede charges. App-store purchases may need separate store terms. No invented renewal or refund policy applies today.
8. Privacy and confidentiality
Read the separate draft Privacy Policy for collected information, AI processing, visibility and rights. Respect other members’ privacy: do not publish, redistribute or commercially use profiles, photos, messages or private introductions. Limited visibility is not permission to disclose someone’s identity publicly.
To confirm: final privacy notices and legally required consents. Confidentiality cannot be guaranteed against screenshots, recipient behavior or lawful disclosures.
9. Safety, suspension and termination
F8 may investigate credible reports and restrict, suspend or terminate accounts for underage use, misrepresentation, harassment, scams, serious safety risks or other violations. Urgent safety restrictions may be appropriate before review is complete. Blocking and reporting tools are available on member surfaces; reports are not an emergency service.
Proposed process requiring confirmation: provide an explanation when safe and lawful, review evidence proportionately, restrict unnecessary disclosure and offer a monitored appeal channel. Confirm staff responsibilities, response targets and notice procedures; this draft does not claim these operations are already staffed.
You can permanently delete your account in profile Settings after fresh identity verification and explicit confirmation, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your shared introductions and their conversations are removed for both participants; unrelated accounts and conversations remain. Signing out or requesting verification does not delete an account. Minimal deletion status remains to prevent restoration and retry cleanup; provider backup, log and AI-record retention still requires confirmation. No specific legally necessary retention period has been established.
10. Availability, liability and mandatory rights
A beta service may have interruptions, errors and evolving features. Matching outcomes and the conduct of other people are outside F8’s complete control. Take reasonable safety precautions for communications and meetings. These statements are not a waiver of F8’s legal responsibilities.
To confirm with counsel: any permissible warranties disclaimer, liability limitation and dispute procedure for the operator’s jurisdiction and intended members. No liability cap, arbitration requirement or indemnity amount is invented here. Nothing in the final terms should exclude rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
11. Changes, disputes and contact
Material changes should be communicated with appropriate notice and any legally required choice before they take effect. To confirm: notice method, effective date, complaints and appeal contacts, governing law and competent courts. This draft selects no jurisdiction, mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver.
A monitored support contact and privacy/deletion channel must be supplied before launch. Do not rely on unverified contact details elsewhere in the app. These documents require legal review and owner approval before they become final.
