Draft — requires legal review before launch
Prepared 8 October 2026. Not a final or effective policy. Items marked “To confirm” require F8’s owner to supply facts or approve a decision. This draft is not legal advice.
A thoughtful introduction begins with respect. These draft standards apply to profiles, messages and conduct connected to F8 introductions.
1. Respect and consent
Treat every member with dignity. Respect boundaries, rejection and silence; no one owes you a response, meeting, photograph or explanation. Consent must be freely given and may be withdrawn. Do not pressure someone to continue contact or use another account to evade a block.
2. Harassment and hateful behavior
Harassment, threats, stalking, humiliation, coercion, abusive sexual remarks and hateful or discriminatory attacks are not allowed. Do not expose someone’s identity, location, contact details or private conversations. These expectations also apply to off-platform conduct connected to an F8 introduction when it creates a safety risk.
3. Authenticity and adults only
Use truthful profile information and photographs you have permission to share. No impersonation, stolen photos, deceptive identity claims, fake ages or pretending to represent F8. F8 is exclusively for adults aged 18 and older. Report suspected underage profiles; never solicit or share sexual content involving minors.
Being approved does not mean a member has passed identity or background screening. Do not claim verification F8 has not performed.
4. Scams and commercial solicitation
No romance scams, fraudulent investments, phishing, extortion, deceptive fundraising, spam or unsolicited commercial promotion. Do not request money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, account codes or financial credentials from members. Never share passwords or verification codes. Report suspicious requests and stop contact; do not send funds to someone you have only met online.
5. Explicit and harmful content
Do not upload or send nudity, pornography, unsolicited sexual images, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, graphic violence or illegal content. Do not pressure anyone for intimate material. Do not threaten to share private images or promote trafficking, abuse or self-harm. Report suspected exploitation without downloading or redistributing harmful material.
6. Privacy and platform integrity
Do not screenshot and redistribute another person’s profile or messages without permission, publish contact details, scrape member information or disclose private matchmaker material. Do not bypass age gates, membership restrictions, blocks or safety measures. Keep account access personal and secure.
7. Reporting and blocking
Use the Report control on an available Discover profile or conversation to provide a reason and relevant details; use Block to limit further access and contact within F8. Submit reports honestly and avoid unnecessary sensitive information. Blocking does not remove copies already saved or prevent contact outside F8.
Report credible concerns even if conduct began after moving off-platform. For imminent danger, contact local emergency services; do not wait for F8. To confirm before beta: a monitored alternative reporting contact, escalation route for people unable to sign in and staff response targets. No round-the-clock monitoring or response deadline is promised.
8. Review and account restrictions
Administrators can review submitted reports and record resolutions. Proposed moderation standards requiring owner confirmation: consider severity, available evidence and repeated behavior; use warnings, content restrictions, suspension or termination as appropriate; impose urgent restrictions where credible safety risks warrant them.
Reporting does not guarantee a particular outcome or disclosure of another member’s private account action. False or retaliatory reports may violate these rules. To confirm: content-removal procedures, evidence handling, moderator access, emergency escalation and a fair notice and appeal process. These are proposed operating rules, not a claim that every moderation action is automated or already implemented.
9. Safer meetings
Take time to get to know someone. For a first meeting, choose a public place, tell a trusted person your plans, arrange your own transport and leave if you feel unsafe. Do not rely on a compatibility explanation as a safety endorsement. You may pause a conversation or decline a meeting at any time.
10. Support, appeals and final review
To confirm before launch: F8’s monitored safety/support address, privacy request channel, moderator responsibilities, escalation hours and appeal method. Contact details are intentionally not invented. These Community Guidelines are a draft requiring legal review and owner approval alongside the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
